Mr. Clark brings a wealth of experience in technology integration and digital imaging to Lightning Source Inc., including leading the architecture development of the high-capacity print-on-demand (POD) production control system that drives some of the largest POD operations in the world.
Mr. Clark began his career as a systems analyst at Eastman Kodak in 1985, and held several management positions there. In 1993, he joined Kodak Imaging Services (KIS) as a founding senior manager. While at KIS, Mr. Clark developed the technology integration organization for the company. In addition, he designed the firm’s digital services portfolio, which included digital imaging and international POD services.
Mr. Clark also served as KIS’ Director of Application Development and Integration, and General Manager of the Digital Solutions Division. Most recently, he held the position of Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Danka Services International (KIS rebranded after being acquired by Danka). Mr. Clark was the senior executive responsible for driving DSI’s digital services, technological direction, and strategic plan.
Mr. Clark received his M.S. in Computer Engineering in 1989 as one of the first graduates of the groundbreaking satellite distance learning institution, the National Technology University in Fort Collins, CO, with curriculum sponsorship from Purdue University’s College of Engineering. He received a B.A. in Computer Science in 1985.
